At BrightInsight, I oversee engineering programs by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and that our platform and applications are scalable to meet customer demands. Additionally, I manage the operational aspects of engineering, focusing on strategic planning and execution to achieve our goals.
I spent my early childhood in Zambia, where my father worked, before relocating to India for my education and undergraduate studies. I grew up in Chennai, South India, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage, stunning architecture, aromatic filter coffee, and delicious dosas (a type of pancake). I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering from SSN College of Engineering and later completed my master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Drexel University.
Professionally, I bring over a decade of experience in the digital health sector, with a strong focus on regulated software development. Prior to joining BrightInsight, I worked with MedTech companies, managing and delivering software programs.
I’m a passionate foodie who enjoys exploring all kinds of cuisines. Aside from South Indian food, my favorites include Ramen, Korean, and Thai dishes. In my opinion, New York offers some of the best culinary experiences, with Hangawi being a top favorite of mine.
I have many destinations on my bucket list, such as Iceland, Switzerland, and Italy, that I’m eager to explore. Among the places I’ve visited so far, Germany has a special place in my heart.
Of all BrightInsight’s values, "TEAM" resonates with me the most. The strong emphasis on collaboration, putting collective goals ahead of individual interests, truly stands out. The sense of camaraderie and unity fosters an enjoyable and ego-free work environment, making teamwork both productive and fulfilling.
My favorite part of working at BrightInsight is collaborating with passionate and highly dedicated professionals in digital health, who inspire me and provide opportunities for continuous learning and growth.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching British comedies and murder mysteries, cooking meals for my family, and taking relaxing walks around the bay.
